Bump steer is when the front wheels steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. The undesirable steering is caused by bumps in the road interacting with improper length or angle of the suspension and steering linkages. Performance bump steer kits can alleviate this issue. They are made to last with stainless steel studs along with chomoly heims that have a static load of 18,000. The sleeves are powder coated for a durable finish. Fits 1968-1982
