This photograph was taken on February 9, 1963. Never before this time had people seen such a car as the 1963 Corvette. Imagine being able to tour the plant in 1963. The Split Window Coupe was an amazing car then and it still is today.
Photographer Alvin Sievers was invited to photograph the St. Louis Corvette plant. This black and white image shows everything from Corvette Club tours, Shriner's Tours to social events at the club.
