Chevrolet took the automotive world by storm with the reveal of the newest edition to the Corvette family, the 2023 Z06. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of this historic Corvette:
Performance
The biggest news coming out of the latest announcement is the sheer power of this new vehicle. The Z06 is reportedly going to be putting out 670 horsepower and 460 sq lb of torque, coming out of a 5.5L V8 engine. Design

Fan Response
Surprising no one, the response from fans has been abundantly positive. Chevrolet released a 45 minute video on the Corvette YouTube channel going in depth into the process of creating the Z06. It’s been made clear that this Z06 is different from those that came before—one of the designers noting “This is the one that elevates the Corvette brand.” Many are comparing the new 'vette to actual professional racing vehicles more than competing performance cars. No matter which way you look at it, the eighth generation Z06 is big news.
