Every part in a Rockland differential is inspected and then reassembled with new carrier bearings, a new ring & pinion gear set, new seals, pinned output bearings and a pinned oil trough. The new ring and pinion gear lash is set to an even closer tolerance than factory, plus every posi-traction assembly is adjusted with 50% more “break-a-way†force for improved “off the corner “acceleration. For high horsepower or “hard core†drag racing we recommend upgrading the input shaft to the Severe Duty Output Shaft P/N 42559. This part has a core charge of $950.00.
