The Coker Classic Star Series 205/75R15 whitewall tire is a modern radial tire with best-in-class speed, load and traction ratings. This tire features a 2.50-inch whitewall, which is built into the tire from day one for a long-lasting tire that offers the perfect look for your classic car. The wide whitewall is perfect for '40s, '50s and '60s classic cars, and the 205/75R15 sizing is a direct replacement for 670-15 and F78-15 bias ply tires. Coker Classic Star Series tires feature a 480AA UTQG rating, giving them excellent treadwear, traction and temperature control. Another best-in-class rating is the T speed rating (118mph), as well as XL load rating, thanks to a reinforced sidewall. The low-noise tread looks and performs nicely, and this tire is DOT approved and E-marked for the European market. You won't find a better whitewall radial tire on the market, you have our word on it!
These tires feature Grade-A traction and temperature ratings, meaning you can expect excellent handling and traction on wet and dry roads. We engineered the Coker Classic Star Series to outperform all other whitewall tires, and it features a 480 AA UTQG rating for long-lasting tread life and unbeatable traction. This makes your classic car safer to drive in all weather conditions and improves your driving experience.
The Coker Classic Star Series is engineered with a reinforced sidewall to better support the weight of classic cars. This reinforcement gives the tire Extra Load (XL) rating, meaning added safety and a long-lasting sidewall that won't break down over time. You can find the load rating for this tire in the specifications column.
This product features a genuine wide whitewall sidewall style. This means that the bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. Wide whitewall tires were a very popular choice from the 1930's through the end of the 1950's, and were eventually phased out of mainstream production by 1962. Originally, wide whitewall tires featured a bias ply construction, but now Coker Tire offers them in original style bias ply and modern radial construction.
T Speed Rated: Up to 118 mph (190 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.

Coker Tire was founded in 1958 and many years of our history has been focused on supplying the collector vehicle market with authentic tires. Coker Classic is our house brand, which is a favorite among car restorers and enthusiasts around the world. We were the first to develop the wide whitewall radial, and it's still one of our most popular product lines to this day. Coker Classic tires are offered in both bias ply and radial construction, using modern materials to ensure proper fitment and handling for your collector vehicle.
Coker Tire Company, established in 1958 by Harold Coker in Chattanooga, Tennessee, began as a tire and service center. Over time, under the leadership of Harold's son, Corky Coker, the company shifted its focus towards the antique tire market, dedicating four decades to developing this niche. This strategic move transformed Coker Tire into a leading provider of vintage-style tires for collector vehicles.
The company specializes in manufacturing and selling vintage-style tires, including brands like Michelin, Firestone, BF Goodrich, and Uniroyal, catering to the needs of automotive enthusiasts seeking authentic period-correct tires. By utilizing original, refurbished molds or creating new molds from original drawings, Coker Tire ensures that their products maintain the classic appearance while incorporating modern materials for improved performance and safety.
In addition to tires, Coker Tire offers a range of wheels and accessories suitable for various collector vehicles. Their inventory includes steel and wire wheels designed to replace worn-out OEM wheels for makes such as Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Mercury, Chrysler, Buick, and Volkswagen. They also provide custom wire wheels for hot rods and distribute products from brands like Rocket Racing Wheels and Dayton Wire Wheels.
