This starter has the Drive End housing with 2 long ears requiring the addition of the long mounting bolt (included). This starter can be use on all 97-04 C5 Corvettes where housing breakage is a concern, but on some Corvettes header clearance may be an issue.
Electrical components such as starters are non-returnable parts.
Always refer to a factory service manual when diagnosing engine service problems. You can damage electrical components if the proper procedures are not followed. Be sure you are replacing the correct part.
