Some of the late 76 cars started to use the 77 radiators. The best ways to tell is the length of the radiator core and how the upper inlet is pointed.
•The 73-76 radiator core is 27.5" long, and the 77 core is 26.26" long
•The 73-76 inlet tube on the top comes out curves 90 degree up, and the 77 radiator sticks straight out.
