Don't let rear bearing failure strand you in the middle of nowhere! Our rear wheel bearing greaser will enable any 68-82 Corvette owner to lubricate wheel bearings without the cost of hiring a professional to remove the spindle. Instructions are included. Also shown in GM Shop Service Manual.
Instructions:
1. Raise rear of car.(Be Safe! Use Jackstands).
2. Remove half shaft.
3. Remove spindle nut, washer, and flange.
4. Place greaser over spindle, through deflector and seal.
5. Grease bearing with about 4 tablespoons (7 to 9 shots of grease gun). Check with GM Dealer Parts and Service Department about grease you should use.
6. Remove greaser and replace items in reverse order. Refer to GM Service Manual for Torque Specs.
7. Repeat on opposite side of car.
8. Lower car.
NOTE: Does not require disassembly for lubrication of bearings.
